The pieces were recorded on location at St. Augustine's Church, Penarth at the beginning of 2006.

Tracks 1,7 and 16 are accompanied by the Cantemus Chamber Orchestra. Jane Oliver (cello) and Huw Tregelles Williams (organ) feature on track 14 and Jeffrey Howard (organ) plays on track 7.
